Jake + Jennifer | Married | Kayla Knies Photography | NWI Wedding Photographer

We started our morning at Modish Salon and Spa where the ladies hung out and got pampered. Bride, Bridesmaids, and even the moms, had matching PJ’s (which were adorable and looked incredibly comfortable). We didn’t spend too much of the morning with them, but I could imagine that the morning went well considering everyone looked great, everything ran on time, and everyone was so smiley!

Jake and Jennifer waited until the ceremony to see one another but they wanted to read their vows and say a prayer before the ceremony. I set Jake up in front of a large Oak tree and as I was bringing Jennifer out, she said “I saw his shoulder and I’m already crying”. They held hands, spoke such sweet vows, and shared a prayer together. They were SO ready to finally be married.

This entire wedding day was a breeze! Jennifer and Jake are amazing people so it didn’t come as a shock to learn that they are SURROUNDED by some of the sweetest people. Sidenote : I am not sure if we have EVER done a long list of family formals in such a short time. Everyone was where they needed to be when we needed them. And they all cooperated so well.

It was evident that their siblings took time to write and articulate sweet (and hilarious) speeches. And I can’t forget to add that Jake and his mom actually danced a verse of Crank That Soulja Boy. Every moment of their day was perfectly planned.

Jennifer and Jake, we are so happy for you. And thank you for making our job SO easy. We hope married life is amazing for you (but we have no doubts that it will be anything short of that).

With love,

Kayla and Kris
